GEOGRAPHY OF VIETNAM

Stretching 1,650 km from north to south, Vietnam is surrounded to the west by Laos and Cambodia and to the north by China.

The Annamite Range forms a narrow band of high plateaus and mountains that separates the deltas of the Red River to the north and that of the Mekong to the south. Bordered by the China Sea, the Gulf of Tonkin and the Gulf of Thailand, the country benefits from a maritime coastline of more than 3000 km.

ENTRY WITHOUT VISA: less than 45 days maximum on site (no exemption).

Necessary documents: passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of entry into Vietnam and plane ticket attesting to exit from the territory within 45 days.

You may be asked for a health and repatriation insurance certificate upon arrival.

ENTRY WITH VISA: For trips of 45 days or more :

E-Visa to be obtained before departure. Delay 5 days minimum, 90 days maximum on site, passport valid for at least 6 months, online exclusively at: https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/web/guest/trang-chu-ttdt
